The Creating Culture in the Classroom workshop helps educators explore tools to foster an inclusive, culturally competent community within their classrooms. Educators will learn how to navigate cultural differences, break down barriers to inclusion, and build relationships that empower both students and adults. The goal is to inspire educators to use cultural competency as a foundation for classroom engagement, fostering deeper connections, empathy, and a sense of belonging among all participants.

Collage Making for Liberation is a hands-on workshop where participants will learn collage techniques while exploring powerful themes from history and art history. Through creative expression, we’ll connect art to liberation movements, fostering deeper conversations about identity, freedom, and resistance.

Circle Keeping for Educators is an interactive workshop that introduces educators to the practice of peace circles as a tool for building inclusive, culturally responsive classrooms. Participants will explore themes of community, equity, and liberation, learning how to facilitate meaningful discussions that foster connection, healing, and growth in their educational spaces.
